VEIL COMPLIANCE / WEBSITE POLICIES
Privacy policy
How we use personal information when you visit this concept website or contact us about Veil Compliance.
Last updated: 6 November 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Who is responsible
Veil Compliance is a proposed service from Veil Associates. Veil Associates is the controller of the personal information it uses to manage this website and enquiries. Contact us at help@veilassociates.com for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.
This notice covers the public concept website and related enquiries. It does not describe the processing of customer compliance evidence by a live AI service. Any future pilot or subscription will have its own applicable privacy information and data processing arrangements.
2. Information we use and why
| Information | Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, work contact details, company, role and information you choose to include in an email | Respond to enquiries, discuss investment or pilot opportunities and manage the relationship | Legitimate interests in responding to and managing business enquiries; steps at your request before a contract where applicable |
| Connection and operational information, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and security events, processed by the hosting service | Deliver, protect and operate the website and investigate faults or abuse | Legitimate interests in providing a secure, functioning website |
| Your privacy choice, notice version and choice date stored in your browser | Remember your requested privacy setting and avoid repeatedly showing the notice | Legitimate interests in respecting and recording privacy choices |
| Information required for a legal request or claim | Meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims | Legal obligation where applicable, or legitimate interests in managing legal claims |
We receive enquiry information directly from you. Providing it is voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough context to answer. Please avoid sending identity documents, special-category information or confidential company evidence through an initial enquiry.
3. Cookies, tracking and AI
Optional analytics, advertising and optional functionality are disabled in the site’s Wix default consent policy. The authored page contains no advertising pixels or third-party social embeds. The cookie policy explains necessary hosting technologies and the preference stored in your browser.
The agent examples are an interactive concept walkthrough. They do not send your input to an AI model. There are no user accounts, file uploads, payment forms or live agent conversations on this page. We do not use this page to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you, or to profile you for that purpose.
4. Who receives information
Access is limited to people managing the project and enquiries, and service providers needed to operate the website and business correspondence. These include Wix.com Ltd. and relevant Wix affiliates and subprocessors for hosting, security and platform operation, and the email and IT providers used to handle correspondence. Professional advisers or public authorities may receive relevant information where required by law or necessary to manage a legal matter.
We do not sell enquiry information or add you to a marketing mailing list just because you contact us. An enquiry response is separate from any future marketing subscription.
5. International processing
Wix operates internationally. Its Data Processing Addendum describes transfers to Wix in Israel and onward processing by its service providers. It provides for applicable adequacy decisions or appropriate contractual and other safeguards for transfers outside the UK and EEA. Its privacy policy gives further details of its operations.
Business email and IT processing may also involve providers outside the UK. Contact us for the providers and transfer safeguards relevant to your correspondence, including how to obtain a copy of applicable safeguards.
6. How long we keep information
Our intended retention period for an inactive initial enquiry is up to 12 months after the last substantive contact. An active relationship, a legal duty or a dispute may require a different period; the reason and duration will depend on that relationship or obligation. Privacy choices are applied for six months in your browser, unless you reset or clear them earlier.
Hosting and security records are retained under the hosting provider’s applicable operational and legal retention arrangements. The period depends on the record and purpose; contact us for details relevant to a particular request. We do not create a separate visitor analytics database for this concept page.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, and data portability where the conditions apply. You may withdraw consent whenever consent is the basis for processing; this does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
Email help@veilassociates.com. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity before acting. You can review or reset the browser preference using .
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Where applicable, you may also complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
8. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the website or its processing changes. The date at the top identifies this version. A live service, new integration or optional tracking feature will require appropriate privacy information before it is introduced.
